      Can be, the resulting drought and possibility of north and south poles’ ice melting, can be dangerous.

      Yes, especially when it occurs as rapidly as it’s happening now: most of the planet’s ecosystems won’t be able to adapt in time, so there will be (there is) extinction of a lot of organisms. It’s looking like amphibians will be particularly badly affected as their habitats tend to be quite fragmented anyway.
