      I’m not sure what you mean by the ‘problem’. It would be better for people and for the planet if we devised new economic models that weren’t based on capitalism, i.e. increasing consumption, which just leads to greater inbalance of wealth and resources. We need to try to reduce our carbon footprint by recycling more, buying less, growing more, travelling less.
