Birds vary hugely in terms of how intelligent they are (by human standards of intelligence). The smartest birds are corvids – this is the family of birds that includes crows, magpies, jackdaws, rooks and ravens. They routinely cache (hide) food and can find it even two weeks later. They can also learn tricks.
