      You can usually find fossils in our limestone, e.g. in the Burren, Hook Head, Sligo, around Lough Mask, Loughshinny. You can also find fossils on the Dingle Peninsula, in Donegal, Cork, almost every county really. There is a nice book ‘The Geology of Ireland’ which shows you where to find fossils and other interesting rocks.
